We would like to thank everyone for their interest in the Connect Barracks Row project. This studio created a wonderful opportunity for us to interact with the community and generate a report which will help the citizens of the Barracks Row area guide the future of the neighborhood.

Final Presentation Meeting Location Set
For the past few months, planning students from the University of Maryland have been working with community residents to explore and identify possibilities for the future of Barracks Row. Please join us as we discuss our findings and invite you to share your thoughts.
Our final presentation will be held at the Blue Castle, at 8th and M Streets SE on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 7:30-9:00pm.
Final Meeting Date Set
Connect Barrack’s Row has set the date for our final presentation of findings. We will be meeting on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 7:30 PM. The location of the meeting is still to be determined. Please save the date.

For those of you unable to attend the community meeting last week, we have posted the presentation on the website. Thank you for your interest in connecting Barracks Row.
We would also like to thank everybody for attending our community feedback meeting on Wednesday, October 29th. We received a lot of great input and are looking at ways to incorporate your ideas into our final designs.

Studio Group to Participate in Community Fair
The Connect Barracks Row studio group will be participating in the Anacostia Waterfront Community Information Fair on Saturday, November 15. We are excited to have another opportunity to solicit community feedback and participate in this great event.
We invite all community members to come out to Nationals Park and make their voices heard.

Meeting Location Change

Welcome to the site for the University of Maryland’s Urban Planning Studio on Barracks Row. Please make sure to check in often for updates on the project.
